Version: For any versions of Mybb 1.4* series.
Funcionality: Originally I was going to make it to automatically hide only links which would be seen until users had replied as requested here:

But then skiilz came up with some extra suggestions that were appealing to me as like that I can make use of the plugin myself as well.
Anyway, this plugin will allow you to hide posts at certain forum/forums, until a user has replied to see them. You can hide the entire post, half of the post, links or whatever you wish. When the user will see the hidden content, he/she will see a message informing him/her that they must reply in order to see it. After they reply, they must refresh the browser and they will see the hidden content along with a nice message thanking them for their post.
Both messages that will be displayed to the users, before and after the reply, are fully customizable in the acp. There you can also enable and disable the plugin, enter the id''s of the forum where you wish to hide the posts and as last but not least, you can also choose which membergroups can see the hidden contents without having to reply.
The admins see the hidden content automatically.
To have an idea how the plugin looks like in action, please check the attached screenshots below.

All you need to do is to enable it and enter the settings correctly. Note, that the admins will see the hidden posts automatically.
Can you tell me what problems are you experiencing with the plugin btw? Cos it has been tested thoroughly and it works fine.

I've installed it on my localhost so I cannot provide an live demo. I'm not experiancing any error, only it seems like it doesn't work. I've left all settings as it is with exception of activating it (Yes) and adding an forum to use it on (fID: 2).
But I still see the regular bbcode istead of the warning message:

That is because you see it as an admin and the admins see the hidden content automatically. Create a test account and try to view the hidden content with it instead.

Works fine now, but in order to successfuly use it I would need to remove the multiquote, because it shows the hidden content

No, the hidden content is not shown at the multiquote as shown in the screenshots above. The hidden content shows only to admins by default and those groups that you will give permissions to view the hidden post without having to reply.
Go to the test board here and try to view it there and you will see that it is hidden.

To make for the superadmins to see the hidden content without having to reply, find this at the plugin file:

And replace it with:

if(in_array($fid, $fids) && $mybb->usergroup['issupermod'] == 0)
Edit: I haven''t test it nor do I have time to, but it would be much easier to simply enter their group id at the settings that allows them to see the hidden content without having to reply.

It is a bit more complicated than that Rafael. It would require some other edits and atm I am extremly busy to look into that. Maybe later on if I get some free time I will create such a plugin to automatically hide the links when posted but I can''t promise anything.
But all you have to do is place the links between hide tags.

In the setting called: In the Forums where the posts will be hidden you have to add each forum ID to work on a forum but I think can be good a Option that if you leave blank this without any Forum ID the plugin will work on all the forums.

If you need that only an administrator see a message, i would strongly suggest to ask your members to send them by PMs...

Just tested it out with default groups of 1,2,4 where 1=guests 2=members 4=administrators. with proper forum ids of testing and still able to see posts without replying on mybb version 1.6.
I will still continue to test this to see if there might be some other way of working it.

Yes i have tested the local plugin yesterday and made other tests today with the version available online to download. Each time it was working properly, but i discovered that the instructions are not very clear on how to use this plugin and i will update them.
Meantime if you did not read this thread about the plugin, i will tell you these few details :
1- Administrators can always see the post content.
2- The Forums list is for the forums that will be affected with the hidden proccess.
3- The Groups list is for the people that will be enabled to always see the hidden posts.
4- You must put these two tags to tell the plugin which part of your post you want to hide :
PHP Code:[Highlight]
[hide] The hidden content is here [/hide]
Please tell me if these details are helping you to resolve your issues.

hmmmm ur right about the instructions. I always thought it was by default automatically hidden. I was actually looking forward for the entire post to not be shown and to have it replied for people to see it, would that be possible to do without the [hide] tags [/hide]?

Yes, you just put the tags to include the whole post.
The main purpose of this is for creating "teasers"...
I could also modify the plugin to hide everything, when there is no [hide] [/hide] tags in it.

You can achieve this manually by putting the "[code] and links" between the [hide][/hide] tags.
Or you can use another plugin like this one "Min. Posts To View Links".

The thing is I would have to manually go through every post with any [code] tags to add the additional [hide] tags. Going through hundreds of post to add the additional [hide] is not productive and time efficient. May i request the [code], links and [hide] tags post until reply plugin be made? As this will help keep posts alive by having it bumped and replied to.

I may suggest you to have the search and replace automaticely done with phpmyadmin mysql requests.
You will need to search '[ code ]' in all posts message and replace it with '[ hide ][ code ]' and do the same for '[ /code ]' and '[ /code ][ /hide ]'.
Do a backup of your table just in case before.
Sample requests :

All our plugins have been converted to work with MyBB 1.6.*, most of Babjusi ones have also been converted...

Ok Thanks for the reply 'exdiogene' but maybe just my personal oppion for futur referance adding in thread title and post like [Plugin for Mybb 1.4.*] to [Plugin for Mybb 1.4.* + 1.6*] for some of Babjusi plugins?
