Are you the super-admin on your forums? (UID=1)

The SEO plugin seem to be conflicting with the Links Checker, i will make some test and tell you my findings...

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - exdiogene - 11-11-2010 05:00 PM

If you look at the .htaccess content in the first post you will see a section containing at the beginning "# MyBB "search engine friendly" URL rewrites" and at the end "SetEnv SEO_SUPPORT 1".

So this show that at some point you used that SEO plugin but forgot to replace the previous .htaccess file afterward.

If you just replace this file, the Links Checker should work without any issues.

Wink

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - exdiogene - 11-11-2010 06:08 PM

So the plugin is working, but i did not found out why you cannot access it from your AdminCP!

When you are in the Tools section and click the link there in the left panel , this is where you get the error, right?

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - petr0s - 11-11-2010 06:10 PM

correct

note, there are more than these two links.

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - exdiogene - 11-11-2010 06:21 PM

From what i could read in the last provided image, your site is containing links to illegal material, like "routers cracks".

We do not support those kind of sites and it is clearly mentioned in our rules.

Unfortunately I cannot continue giving you support.

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - petr0s - 11-11-2010 06:33 PM

As a Network Admin where i work i use tools for security issues, the thomson tool is not a crack tool, it checks for default password in order to avoid security holes.
The other link is a security analyser for LAN. It is not illegal material.

I hope you understand. If you dont want to help please lock the topic or delete it.

Thanks for your time.

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - exdiogene - 11-11-2010 07:05 PM

As you must know, these tools are used mostly to get access to the routers providing its password.

While there is no way for me to know what you do with these tools, just the fact that it is available on your site for download is enough for not respecting our rules.

Therefore i will close this thread.

RE: Regentronique Links Checker - Error 404 - exdiogene - 11-13-2010 12:10 AM

Update :

I have intensively tested the plugin on MyBB 1.6 forums and found no issues.

This could be caused by mod_security still enabled on a server even with a .htaccess file trying to disable it. Shared Hosting providers could be responsible for this.

If this is the case, you can try to ask your webhosting technical support to "whitelist" your domain to bypass mod_security.
