While you can target different GROUP for advertisement with the Header Manager, in the Ultimate Ad Suite you can control the forums where the POST advertisement would be excluded.

If you need control for advertisement outside of the Posts then you will need a new plugin for this, there is one i have done long ago and have not published, but i would have to find it and see if i gave it control on the forums for displaying...
