Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some feedback and suggestions on an idea I have for enhancing user profiles within MyBB. Currently, the built-in profile system is somewhat limited in terms of customization and personalization.
My goal is to create a plugin or series of modifications that would allow users to:
* Add custom fields to their profiles beyond the standard ones (e.g., hobbies, favorite books, personal website).
* Choose from a variety of pre-designed profile themes or create their own using CSS.
* Display their forum activity in a more visually appealing way (e.g., progress bars for posts, points, or reputation).
* Integrate with other plugins, such as level systems or activity systems, to show their progress and achievements.
* Control the privacy settings for each profile field, allowing them to choose who can see their information.
I'm open to any ideas, suggestions, or resources that could help me bring this project to life. If you have experience with MyBB plugin development or know of any existing solutions that address these needs, please share your insights.
